Red Ribbon

I'll have some comments to add once I get time to read through it myself, but anyone interested can take a look at the red ribbon renewal report at Public Eye Online.

  • A quote from Warren Kinsella:

"Blogs are occasionally fun, but blogs can be dangerous, too."

All bloggers take note of that. Recent blogs have had their purposes, some meaningful and some not; however, all have hurt the Party in some way. In fact, they may have helped seal victory for Harper in the next election.

Please, keep up the creative blogging and debating the issues, but let's try to focus some of that energy to take aim at our real political enemy: Stephen Harper.

Remember, a Party renewal is supposed to be healthy. If we have constructive criticism for each other, let's keep it in house and work on it. Let's not give in to the temptation to score "blog hits" and the spotlight by posting bad things on our blogs.

  • I think the lesson that Warren was trying to get accross, Concerned YL, was not "don't point out bad things in public", but "don't do bad things in the first place, esp. in public."

  • I'm a concered ol, if that's what our yls think liberalism means: electoral victory over the open conflict of ideas.

Here's my pandering "bad things" post.
