  • Good one, I've already shared it.

  • The child poverty ranking is from a 2007 OECD study with numbers compiled from 2005. I'm not sure the Liberals should hoist that petard.

  • You may be correct, Anon, that the Liberals have nothing to be proud of, but do you really think the situation has improved under the present regime?

  • speaking of trust:

OCHeadlines: Liberals trusted less than NDP, Tories on health care: poll: More Canadians trust the NDP and the Conservatives ... http://bit.ly/eJmIoS

  • Great response to the Harper video!

Canada does deserve better. To paraphrase JBV, it's a pity something better can't be found on our ballots.

To paraphrase another commenter, I feel like I'm changing a baby out of a dirty diaper and back into the diaper it dirtied before.

  • I've had enough of Harper and his coalition high horse. His current view on minority governments and coalitions is vastly different from that he championed in an interview on TVO in 1997.

Although the first 10 minutes are interesting, the last 1:05 or so are much more worth listening to.

I've had just about as much deceit and deception as I can take...

    Hollee Sheepdip!

Who was that guy talking all 2nd and 3rd-party minority coalitions and such?

I know he was a Reform member, so maybe the Harper Govt(TM) could get some advice from that sensible-sounding fellow sometime.
