For those curious how the political stock markets are calling the US Presidential campaign:

Dem Nominee

Clinton 49.3%

Obama 30.5%

Gore 8.7%

Edwards 5.3%

Republican Nominee

Giuliani 32.5%
Thompson 31.2%

Romney 22.5%

McCain 8.5%

Hmm, I wonder what explains the fairly recent spike in Clinton's fortunes (at the time time as a milder drop in Obama's).

I was going to ask the very same thing. Perhaps it was the CNN debate? She did well in that. But that's a huge "surge". :)

I still like Ron Paul more than anyone , even though he doesn't have a snowballs chance.

Who doesn't love Ron Paul?

I listen to the Young Turks podcast regularly (plug: www.theyoungturks.com) and they've been saying that the Republicans are looking forward to a Clinton win. The only reason being is that they stand the best chance of slandering her in the federal campaign than the other candidates.

I like Obama. And I think it can happen. No evidence, just a hunch.

But if he gets it, I think he could take a Reagan-like sweep. I really, really do.
