That Time of the Year

Time Canada has picked Stephen Harper as it's Man of the Year. At least their choice makes more sense than that of their US counterpart.

  • Triple UGH. That's the worst (US) pick ever. That magazine truly sucks.

I'd agree with Harper as newsmaker of the year in Canada, though. No contest, in my book. He's stumbled, but he's done really well. I'm taken aback by NDP (part-time) employees who grudgingly confess admiration for his decisive manner, if not his beliefs, and diehard lifelong Liberals who've announced they'll support him next time at bat. I think he's sitting pretty in the next election. We'll see.

  • Congratulations to Stephen Harper. I am pleased to see favorable press on him and very happy to have him as my Prime Minister.

  • Thank you for a great explanation. I was looking online for a similar idea and really appreciate it
