Courtesy of the Liberal Mole...

...come your January 24th talking points:

1. It's Jean Chretien's fault
2. It's the RCMP's fault
3. It's Warren Kinsella's fault
4. It's the media's fault
5. It's the mole's fault

  • heh heh. Number 6 is probably going to be a more popular one: It's Paul Martin's fault.

  • 7. It's Canadian's faults.

Hey, guess who's going to double her drink intake exponentionally every day of a Stephen Harpen gov't?

I would like to send out early requests for new livers. Multiple.

By Blogger Green Stone, at 3:12 a.m.

  • And by Canadian's, I mean Canadians'.

Drinking already, and it's not the 23rd yet!

By Blogger Green Stone, at 3:13 a.m.

  • Pauly Martin and his "inner circle" can take the blame for this fiasco of a campaign. They self destructed all by themselves. The beer and pretzels are on me.

  • You forgot "It's Jack Layton's fault."

By Blogger Greg, at 7:47 a.m.

  • hmmm the mole...I really enjoyed celebrity mole and thought kathy griffin was a riot. But you really should since, this is a grit website be devoting far more time discussing potential successors to Paul Martin: How about that Stephane Dion! He's so swell!
I actually feel for the Prime Minister, it's all rather sad. And what's worse is that because of all this we'll end up with these "people", these "Canadians" as our masters after this election is truly disturbing.

  • You forgot "It's George Bush's fault."

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:03 a.m.

  • George Bush doesn't care about Liberal people!

  • I discovered the mole on the weekend.

It was a bit of a shock.

  • Ekos has tightened from 37-27 to 35-29 overnight. With four days to go.

  • CG,

Has anyone seen any online polls for the possible next Liberal leader yet?

Any comment on what you think Layton's post election future is?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:18 a.m.

  • Gregg's last night numbers are CPC=41, LIB=25, NDP=17, BLC= 12. He did say that due to the rolling method, there would be a bit of a dip today ... mechanical only.

More interesting is info about Buzz's and Paul's new lovemate:

    Wild! Who would have thought.

  • The feud between Chretien's barking dogs and Martinite fart catchers got the Liberals where we are today. Bunch of hillbillies !

By Blogger except for one thing..., at 11:53 a.m.

  • The hillbilly feuding between Chretien's barking dogs and Martinite fart catchers got us to where we are today. It is the fault of the Liberal membership for allowing the feud to happen. Mind you, did any one other than a Martinite try to buy a Liberal membership in the last two years and succeeded?

  • Ekos,

Four points in one day? And you think that represents some sudden and dramatic shift towards Martin at a time when nothing really happened (other than the Buzz gaffe)?

Show me a couple of large sample polls that show the same thing, then maybe something's happening.

Watch SES show the gap widen today. That'll continue until Monday. If not, we'll se SES lose it's credibility,

cuz there's no way Martin's coming back.

  • Anon; I'm gonna wait until after the election for leadership speculation, although Jane Taber has an interesting comment about Martin resigning and Dion or Graham becoming interim leader while a leadership race goes on.

By Blogger calgarygrit, at 12:14 p.m.

  • Lady Cooper,

It's your choice. Under the liberals, health care has completely disintegrated. You'll be waiting a loooooooong time for one liver.

By Blogger Lanny, at 12:20 p.m.

  • You forgot its the bloggers fault. what do you think of the liberal party hyping an elections canada investigation into blogging tories. what next - investigate letters to the editor?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:55 p.m.

  • Why not investigate the Liblogs as well, I mean really the Liberals say we are all equal HAHAHAHAHAH

By Blogger Sara, at 1:31 p.m.

  • lady cooper does not promote parenting of any style, she says and I quote " children are a burden" so before you even look at her twice find out exactly what she tells teenagers if they are pregnant.

These girls have choices, she is telling them only to abort!
Equality is what Liberals stand for eh!!!!
Lady Cooper needs to be investigated!!!!

By Blogger Sara, at 1:47 p.m.

  • Can't blame Chretien without a stretch, since after all Martin WON his first election as PM.

Things really tanked after he had some time on the job all alone at the top, with only Scott Reid to help out.

Imagine the "little guy" leading the Libs in this campaign?

    John W

  • Yes he did win the 2004 election. And then Canadians got introduced to Jean Brault, Jacques Corriveau, Michel Belliveau...
