Actually.. I think there would be an
"NDPforVolpe.ca" as well... IF the Liberals elected him, the NDP would become the progressive's leading choice as an alternative to the Tories.

Have you ever had to drive from Toronto to Buffalo, or vice versa?
You don't want to fly there, so what other option is there for a Toronto MP?
I'd like to make it clear that I'm not defending Volpe, as I think he's a creepy bastard that should not be let anywhere near such an important portfolio, but this is a massive NON-STORY!
What's the next break in this: Blogging Tories publish the rates of all limo companies that serve Pearson International?
Come on...let's move on. Volpe's chances at the leadership end at the precise moment he opens his mouth to speak.
By Anonymous, at 9:40 p.m.
He's never heard of renting a car?
By Anonymous, at 10:04 p.m.
Joe Volpe, Liberal Leader? Seriously?
Ok, let's not go there, unless the Liberals have a secret plan to let the Conservatives win three straight majorities and then end up foundering with a weak leader and get wiped out over the mishandling of a corruption scandal.
Does this mean Jack Layton gets to play the Metrosexual Stockwell Day
in Bizarro World Politics?
By Michael, at 11:09 p.m.
Joe Volpe doesn't even stand a chance to secure GTA. Lets see if he can hold off to his own riding, coz even that can be taken over. He is not in the list of serious candidates among serious organizers. He is just going to use it to bargain for a cabinet position and that is not going to work. We want renewal in the party now.
By Anonymous, at 11:21 p.m.
I fear that Joe Volpe will get elected as an MP again...if that is the case then he deserves to sit in darkest, most remote corner of the House.
Volpe's only running for leader because he wants a cabinet spot...he shouldn't be allowed to serve water to Ministers.
By Anonymous, at 11:25 p.m.
Joe "inappropriate comment" Volpe could have rented a car. He could take a regular taxi.
The problem with Volpe is that it's a pattern of behaviour, not an isolated incident.
I like the ToriesforVolpe/NDPforVolpe idea. Maybe we should all buy memberships and support. Then we could just wait for Volpe to self-destruct in every campaign and the Liberals would be out of government for a long, long time.
Now THAT'S a "Fix for a Generation" that I can buy into.

Anyone bought the domain name "www.calgarytory.com" yet?
Give it up man, this is getting really pathetic.
By Anonymous, at 12:14 p.m.
C'mon Anon - do you know any Liberals who take Joe Volpe seriously?
I don't think I know a single Grit who speaks highly of the guy and the only people who I know of who are supporting him are doing so because of immigration favours he's dished out.
By calgarygrit, at 1:06 p.m.
CG, if we are going to rebuild this party we're going to have to work together.
I would suggest that if you are a true Grit, you’d quit the cannibalism.
Frankly, aside from the obvious gaffes this past year, I don’t see why you’re so hard on him. He turned HRDC from the 'boondoggle' department to just another government agency, and turned CIC from a disgrace to a major player on the policy spectrum.
This isn’t a Volpe advertisement, though I do support him, but rather a call for a detente in the rhetoric until the real race begins.
