"Transformative Change" for BINGO
I was going to come up with a debate night drinking game, but the NDP has beat me to the punch with "debate BINGO". Five Paul Martin catch phrases in a row and you win.

That's hilarious, considering I heard the phrases "Send more New Democrats to Parliament" and "Better Balanced Budget" So many times this year it literally made my head explode.

The NDP aren't getting the media attention during this campaign, but I think they're making good points in a funny way.
They're using the web effectively - and catching the Liberals for using misleading tv commercials was a good one.
(The first time I saw the Liberal ad, and saw "Neil DHALLA", in Brampton, I knew something was up.

I have suggested giving out beer and popcorn as prizes. Family fun, for everyone!

What a great idea!
Do you have room for a few more squares?
"Frankly" is one he lets fly just before he tells a lie...
and "The fact of the matter is" a frequent lead-up to "hidden agenda"

As much as I dislike the NDP policies, their website and campaign ads this year are dead on. Funny, accurate, and to the point. The bingo is great!!
I would vote for them long before the liberals. At least they believe in something other than blind retention of power.

This is just good 'ol bullshit bingo which probably precedes SGI founder Tom Davis's February 1993 buzzword bingo generator.
wiki:
Buzzword bingo is a game sometimes played in relaxed team meetings. The rules resemble those of bingo, but instead of a matrix of numbers, each player's card is a matrix of buzzwords. When a player hears one of his buzzwords spoken in the meeting, he crosses it off his card. The winner is the player who crosses a full line first.
The first documented buzzword bingo occurred when the then Vice President of the United States Al Gore, known for his liberal use of buzzwords hyping technology, spoke at MIT's 1996 graduation. The graduation class had distributed bingo cards containing buzzwords to the audience.

but they left out "cherry pick rights" - everytime PM uses the term "cherry pick" I think of the Claude Boulay letter and get creeped out!

Just remembered another one... when he's dissing Harper's plan to give cash to Canadians so they can make up their own minds on how to run their families.... PMPM says Harper wants to give them "empty boxes". "Empty Boxes" should be a square in Librano BINGO!
While I'm ranting... What kind of loon calls a cheque an "empty box"?
I guess a bloated bureaucracy where you skim some off most of the program money for your friends would be known as a "full box"? Or maybe a "full envelope"?

Sorry, YYC, it's not nearly as funny as the one digging at PM the PM.
I mean, would you really prefer "negative" choices?

anon: buzzword bingo is a pretty old game. it often has cards half-filled with with useless adjectives.
jack's card is special, it's always the same adjective.
