If Michael says no..I do not think the Bloc and the NDP want to cause a summer election.'
Harper was on FOX News talking ...or whining about elections
By Cari, at 6:47 p.m.
There's not going to be an election. He's going to sternly warn that they're still on probation for the foreseeable future.
That's what I'd do, anyway!

He will spend 2 hours Sunday at Gerard's fundraiser at The Old Mill:
KennedyandFriends.ca
Bob Rae, Mark Holland, Kirsty Duncan, Bonnie Crombie, and Omar Alghabra will also be there participating in "Opening Doors" seminars that are open to Liberals.

Think about it - who caused the elections?
Harper/Layton brought down Martin - over Christmas 2005/6.
Harper called an illegal and totally unnecessary election last fall.
I say let's get it over with NOW. Cost - well, it will cost $300 million now or in the fall....no matter what it will cost.
Summer - why not - it only takes a few minutes to go and vote and if you're going on vacation you can vote earlier.

"Cost - well, it will cost $300 million now or in the fall....no matter what it will cost."
You could consider it part of the stimulus. With the amounts of money the Cons have been shovelling out the door these last few months, I doubt another $300M would be noticed.

wow that 1:44 post must've been reallllllly bad.....

...I've threatened terrorist attacks (assuming can be done safely without injuring first responders) on oil sands infrastructure as a response to Conservative enviro attacks ads and I'm withdrawing that threat.
AB's natural resources can also be used to feed the world of the future (that AB is helping to starve)...kind of got me checkmated here...why are farmers in AB so politically meek? There are just as many as politically loud Calgarians....
When natural gas runs down in less than two decades, those reserves will be solid gold. SW AB will be most affected in Canada (central prairies may benefit from Arctic chinooks) by drought so need to use some methane revenues to provide freshwater when it happens.

USA put out a Battle of Falulljah video game, glorifying the killing of an entire city of males. Short the fuck out of USD and leave Obama's legacy as the Banker Prez.

Dear partisan retards,
this whole notion that you are "getting" the other side by pointing out their hypocrisy in opposing an election when they once supported one (or vice versa) is the very same circular firing squad mentality that is destroying Canada.
Yes, the Tories were gung ho about an election in late 2005 and are not now. Guess who was really NOT gung ho about that same election. The Liberals. The shoe isn't on the other foot this time, both sides are trading shoes. You are not cleverly exposing hypocrisy, you are the kind of idiot (canines excepted) that calls their brother an SOB.
My prediction: Iggy will wait till the fall. Not much will change till then and no recovery will be apparent. On the other hand the Liberals will have the summer to prepare. Ignatieff could probably win if an election were called today, but not by the margin he wants, and ousting Harper as leader could screw him over in a second election.
By french wedding cat, at 5:57 p.m.
If an election were held today, it would be a Liberal Minority.
