The Convention in Pictures
Liberals campaigning hard to pass their policy resolutions. With enough work, their policy might wind up on a binder that the leader could look at any time he wants!
Creative campaigning by the Sam Lavoie YLC campaign...unfortunately the City of Vancouver tried to slap them with an $800 fine (for sidewalk chalk? What's the deal with that?)
Justin and Jean chat...and the CPAC cameras come running
Freudian slip in the delegate package?
A letter from protestors to Michael Ignatius
There's always a debate among delegates over how formal to dress. Well, there's one solution to that!
Blue Liberal signs
Sometimes the buttons are just too obvious to design
John Lennard's YLC campaign button
The Liberal bag...clearly not as much as the 2006 model

That protest letter certainly could have stood a proof-read.

In addition to Michael Ignatius, they couldn't manage to Wiki the name of the leader of the Bloc, nor differentiate between Quebecois and Quebecor.

They also refer to Mr. Ignatius as the Leader of the Oppositions.
And they get Harper's prefix wrong; he's a "Right Honourable".
They got Jacko right, though.

No pictures of the blue 'Steve' jerseys? or the we pooped all over Dion stuff?

John Lennard is running for YLC Prez? Good grief... I had the misfortune of meeting this chump a few times through various functions and campaigns we worked on... good gosh... arrogant beyond belief and an overall idiot. Well done YLC! Glad to see that some things never change... still getting the worst bunch of losers running for party positions.

THAT's the registration desk? Seriously? Last convention you could have held a convention in the room they used just for registration. Was this taken really early, or is there nobody there?

I hang my head in shame over the state of education today. Then again, if the citizenry were good at math, why would they vote Liberal :)
How are all the freebies?

When did the Liberal logo become an erupting volcano?
...I guess its a bit less effete than the scarves.

Now I really, really need to know what the protestors from picture 014 wanted...

Two things:
1. That's not the registration desk. That's the desks for party executive candidates OUTSIDE the registration room.
2. The NDP signs in BC are blue too. Seriously. The Liberals and the NDP BOTH have blue signs. It's ridiculous.

It might not be too late to junk the Chysler-style subsidies and 1950s-logic and ensure Canada is positioned to house a major auto-manufacturer (Americans don't want this Avro-style development).
I thought oil-friendly Harper and supposed-to-be arms-length Transport Canada killed Zenn.
But they just got wicked test results from their USA battery supplier (Zenn has monopoly supplier agreement). On the BBC website, while nosing around for some supermodel photos I notice Zenn isn't even listed among a half-dozen electric car manufacturers. You could even put the plants (bailout-less still assembled in a tiny garage) in Alberta but they are really being jack-asses about lobbying to make this human extinction threat worse despite the Holocaust revenue.

Hey, there's really much effective information above!
