Deja Vu
Something akin to a Quebec wing of the Conservative Party will be created in the new year, to get more organizers on the ground, mostly in ridings currently held by the Bloc.
Since, after all, the LPCQ has been such an unmitigated success story...

In the English language debate, I think Gilles presented the most intelligent arguments. And stood up to Harper with the most equanimity. Maybe the Bloc could set up a TROC wing.

Hey now, it's even the same line I quoted.

And I'll say again here what I said on Centrebloq. Apples and oranges. Any money says the conservatives are not going to give it its own governance structure. That the party will still be national, not federal.

Yeah no doubt about it, the last couple of debates have been like that. With the NDP trying to sound more and more like Liberals, the Bloc at least has some moral clarity.
A good contrast can be seen on how the two progressive parties reacted to Crime. The Bloc stood up and punched back, and won, Layton spent much of his campaign refusing to answer questions about why they threw their pot activist candidates under the bus. With the Libs taking a hard right under Ignatieff, the NDP has room to grown but I havenĀ“t seen a lot of evidence that they have what it takes to really step up, too worried about middle of the road policies and cliche messaging.

How much you wanna bet the first people signed up to this "wing" will get government advertising contracts?
We've all seen this before, and we know how it ends.
