For anyone (like myself) surprised by Elizabeth May's strong debate performance, we should have seen it coming. Here's a clip of a a 23 year old May debating a forestry official.

In other Green Party news, Elizabeth May has announced she will be campaigning in Central Nova from now until Election Day - smart move on her part...the focus for them needs to be to win a seat and, unless they get a lucky vote split in Vancouver Centre, May remains their best hope (albeit still a faint hope, given her terrible decision to take on MacKay).

I'm not a huge fan of May, and the against-MacKay decision seemed poor -- but wow, if she beats him... I'll have to take my hat off to her.
