Fun Stuff

-22 Minutes had a few good spoofs of the Tory attack ads, which you can see here. While you're at it, check out their videos from the Liberal leadership convention if you haven't already.

-Also, I came across this blog today counting down the "101 people who are screwing up Canada". I don't agree with all the names on the list, but it'll sure be fun to watch the countdown since there are certainly many worthy candidates.

-Good to see the government of Canada is on top of this whole climate change thing

-And, finally, because nothing is more fun than watching the PQ implode, be sure to read all about Bernard Landry's musings that he could take over the party's leadership before the next election.

  • Watching the PQ implode is indeed fun, but I can't shake the belief that if there's a will, there's a Charest (to screw it up).

  • Ha ha Island Liberal, well said. I'd like to count the PQ out, but I'm a bit wary. They're not gone yet (but Landry's musings on re-taking over are pretty good!!!

Okay, that dead Climate Change GC link says a lot. Forget about idealism, forget about ideas and opinions and forget about the environment -- on a purely Machiavellian scale, does Harper really not get it??? This is his weak flank, you'd think he'd be all over polishing up the image more. Very interesting to sit back and observe how he deals with this politically, i must say - pretty good theatre, i guess.

  • I would like to add this story.

The people involved in this cover-up are screwing up Canada and letting the Conservatives off the hook for an issue that should compete with Adscam for attention.
