What's In A Headline?

A propos of nothing, I got a kick out of two of Bourque's headlines today:

Valeri To Skip Copps Love In

Fontana's Curiously Delusional Leadership Daydream

I think we've just found Joe's leadership slogan!

  • The heck with Gerard Kennedy, Grit smart-guy Kinsella may want to encourage Dalton to enter the fed. Lib. leadership race. According to Leger, Dalton will need a job come next October.

Dalton would beat Kennedy by a mile!
Ooops he already did that once.

  • CG,

Okay, now I'm really dying to know what you have against Joe Fontana. You will eventually tell us, right?

  • Why should Valeri attend this Copps love in. She has thrown a lot of false accusations against him for two years and yet Valeri consistently has taken the high road with her.

Everyone seems to forget that Hamilton East - Stoney Creek was MOSTLY Valeri's old riding.

  • A Fontana run, although not at all likely to see victory, could be good for the party. At least he's a guy who's been a Liberal long enough to call himself a real one. Fontana's a guy who actually relates to our base (centre-left) - a group we have seriously neglected in the past years and driven away as soft-dippers - and can get his point across to the average "Joe" (pardon the pun).

Regardless of Valeri's absence Fontana will be at the Copps event tonight and rep'ing for the Italians, so no worries!
