I think it's time for Harper to get dirty. Make Canadians think Paul Martin is the biggest crook in the land. CSL, Adscam, Earnscliffe - tie 'em all together with a new commercial and see what happens. Keep the smilling children commercial running too but he needs some mud to sling with it to match the Liberal attack adds.

No sooner said than done, eh?
To me, this is just like the Layton homeless gaffe. The media will play it up big but since it brings the issue forward and it looks like the leader will stick behind it, I don't think it will make much difference. Obviously it wasn't a smart thing to do but I don't think it will be too costly.
