Jack Layton, in Pictures

Although most of the tributes to Layton have focused on his role on Parliament Hill, he will be missed from coast to coast - cycling with Olivia, attending local festivals, marching in Pride parades and, yes, attending Star Trek conventions.

  • Jack was a true Canadian. He loved his country and fought hard for his people. Jack was our anchor, we looked to him to save Canada.

    We have a Prime Minister who, sent the worst, most corrupt, evil and despised, ex Premier Gordon Campbell to England as High Commissioner. Harper rewarded Campbell, for the dirty work he did for him.

    We are going to miss Jack. Canada will miss Jack.

    This country, is no longer Canada. I don't recognize my country. I am no longer, proud to be a Canadian. Canada is now, a cesspool of corruption. Our country's name is fouled and dirtied.
