The new CBC
So CBC Newsworld became the CBC News Network (not to be confused with CTV Newsnet). And, come 5 o'clock, the old Politics hour became "Power & Politics" (not to be confused with Power Play). Oh, and we get to see Mansbridge's legs.
Online, the CBC web portal has Kady O'Malley...and some other stuff...but the main point is it has Kady O'Malley, thereby making it bookmark-worthy for that alone.

Just finished watching their broadcast now - as in, finished at 10:45pm local time because I can't watch it any more. Whether they're good reports or bad, I can't tell, because I'm too distracted by all the bells, whistles and bullsh*t.

I agree with Anon. It's too busy & thus distracting & actually gave me a headache after an hr. Also the "crawl" at the bottom of the screen doesn't "crawl" anymore it zaps across the screen so fast it makes me dizzy & doesn't stay there long enough with some items to be able to complete reading the message. I don't like it. Hopefully they will tweak some of these annoying things.

Is Kady O'Malley hot? Cute? Better as a redhead? How old is she anyway?
I'm sure Mansbridge is bitching about having to wear pants now.

Apparently the trade show rep for cheesy TV software scored a big sale. As for the new look, is our PM trying to turn CBC into Arctic Fox News?
