The Full Monte
He had a rather enjoyable blog back before it was "cool" for politicians to facebook and tweet. And he never seemed to take himself too seriously on it.
So I was pleased to find out he has returned to blogging. Actually, his come-back was last November but I guess I didn't get the memo. So if you also missed Monte's return, you can follow his new blog here.

I look forward to Monte's treatise on how his wife forced him to retire from politics after catching him shagging one too many of the ghastly ogres hovering around D'arcy McGees looking to drain the nutsacks of dopey MPs. That should be wonderful tale.

I also was a big fan of Monte's blog years ago.
Maybe he can explain why he retired and then still stayed in Ottawa.
Could it be double dipping: cushy pension + lobbying? or getting away from the Harper legacy + keeping direct contact with folks before his leadership run? Or all 4?

He lost me a long time ago when he let it be known that SDA is one of his favourite blogs. Also, his partisan idiocy and silliness are rather childish and insulting.
