Vote Out Anders'...Board
In the end, the slate backed by Anders' challenger, Donna Kennedy-Glans, won the day, taking 29 of the 30 board spots (with 2 of them also being on the Anders slate).
But before everyone gets too giddy over the potential demise of Anders, keep this in mind: under new rules, it takes a 2/3 vote of party members to force a nomination meetings. So, even if the anti-Anders (or, "closet Liberal", if you prefer) slate won the day, this may turn out to be a pyrrhic victory.

True! Anders will probably end up as MP again. But there is hope in the third world country.

Has anyone figured out what Anders has on Harper to keep being protected? Photos, recordings, writings, ...?

I never really got why Harper seems to like Anders so much.... you'd imagine the CPC brass would be eager to put him behind them - but no.

I keep hearing that Anders is good friends with Laureen Harper - that may explain some of it.

Yup, it always seems like Laureen has respect for individuals like Anders and Kenney. As a result Harper has given Anders an easier time despite his stupid decisions.

Anders is a true Conservative, I guess true Conservatives are not really supposed to be in the Conservative party of Canada.
For all the Anders haters, have you ever taken the time to talk to him? He is without a doubt one of the most intelligent people I have ever met.
The man speaks his mind and is not afraid to tell you what he believes in. He has always been honest and stood up for what he believes in, he has always been a great representative for Calgary West.
The Federal Conservatives and Progressive Conservative in Alberta are bonefide shams.
