Yesterday's News Now

The year was 2006. Stephen Harper was sworn in as Prime Minister. Ed Stelmach and Stephane Dion pulled off upsets in high profile leadership races. Nelly Furtado was singing Promiscuous Girl. Canada's men's hockey team lost to Switzerland at the Olympics. And Canwest was reporting on Iggy's mini-Iggy.

Is any of this news? Well, given that final story made it onto Bourque today, I can only assume it is.

A very big hat tip to tGPOitHotW for this one

  • I see that he has now taken it off his web-site. Caught!

I also like his torqued headline about Iggy wanting 20 minutes, "not 15". Nowhere in the linked article does it mention a 15 minute meeting.

  • Should I feel bad for thinking that by "mini-Iggy" you were referring to something else?

I guess I should have known better than to assume CanWest would write about something like that though. And in truth we are probably much better off if we never see any article anywhere talking about male politician's "members". I think we'd have to go back to Jimmy Carter in Playboy for that.

  • Ignatieff's tantrum about Obama time is really really pathetic.

You guys deserve better. Are you SURE you don't have someone out west that could serve your support base much, much better?

  • So, I do not actually consider this may have success.
