Hilarious! What a shame that Pierre Polliever was caught in the cross-hairs of these covert instigators.

Your mole forgot about the Mounties tipping off the Liberals in addition to the Socialist Media.
The Libs should really go with that sharp-looking octopus logo in the next campaign...
By Jason Hickman, at 12:55 p.m.
Wait I'm really confused. Where does this elaborate plan begin? And who's the one doing the telling in the top two corners as well as the bottom right corner?
By Top Can, at 1:21 p.m.
Actually...I think it should show Elections Canada tipping of the Liberals and the CBC...oh yeah...the CBC is actually the media arm for the Liberal party...and of course the Liberals have never explained how they knew about the raid ahead of time...
And...I should also mention that this raid happened just one day before Elections Canada officials were to be questioned under oath by Conservative lawyers...but, I guess that was just a co-incidence.
And of course it is also just coincidence that Election Canada did not do an investigation into improper spending relaying to adscam...Public monies the Liberals corruptly spent to alter Election results.
Of course no one wants to mention that the principles of the Chronicle Herald have been substantial donors to the Liberal Party...former PM Martin could probably give a few more details about these transactions....just a little food for thought...now maybe during this investigation the media arm of the Liberal party...the CBC could write a few of the questions so as to help the political arm a bit...the Political arem does tend to get sidetracked in their investigations at times...
And finally...at the committee level, it is only the Conservatives that have agreed to open their election books...the Liberals and the NDP seem to be reluctant for some reason....could they be fearful of their spending patterns...

Hey Cliff, I think there is some room for you and your buddy Van Loan over at www.911truth.org .
They could really use someone with the type of stellar reasoning skills you have displayed.

By Red Tory, at 4:32 p.m.
Guys....the facts are the facts...simply because you want to ignore the facts doesn't change them...How did the Liberals know about this search ahead of time....Why do the Liberals refuse to answer this question?
Now...with regards to the CBC, do you liblogs really believe in today's Global multi media and internet marketplace...that the public purse should be on the hook to the CBC for one billion dollars of taxpayers money every year. Could this money not be used in other areas for the public good. Is the marketing arm of the Liberal Party really necessary?
By Anonymous, at 5:20 p.m.
and of course the Liberals have never explained how they knew about the raid ahead of time...
That might just be because... they didn't?
What other channels do you get in your fillings?

Now refresh my memory. Adscam was a so-called scandal that involved sponsorship and placing some Canadian flags. Ad agencies and their executives along with a guy named guite bilked the Liberal Party and the Canadian taxpayer out of some money - three of which are in jail.
Now, since none of that had to do with an election, why on God's green earth would Elections Canada investigate it.
Four Conservtive cabinet ministers participated in an election fraud and were going to be a party to stealing $777,000 worth of election refunds. Cabinet Ministers Cliff!!!

"Public monies the Liberals corruptly spent to alter Election results."
If that's true, Cliff, then how come the Liberals lost?

The Beijing government is pragmatic.
In turnabout, China says it will meet with Dalai Lama's envoys
By Tim Johnson, McClatchy
NewspapersFri Apr 25, 10:19 AM ET
BEIJING — In a sudden shift, China agreed Friday to meet with envoys of the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan spiritual leader it accuses of instigating anti-government protests in Tibet last month in an effort to scuttle the Beijing Summer Olympics.
A short dispatch from the official Xinhua news agency said the meeting would take place "in the coming days."
China has heaped invective on the Dalai Lama since riots left parts of the Tibetan capital of Lhasa in smoldering ruins March 14 , vilifying him as a criminal. The surprising announcement of a new round of talks seemed aimed at defusing frictions with the West on the issue of Tibet before the Summer Games.
The Xinhua dispatch quoted an unnamed official as saying "the relevant department of the central government" would soon make contact with the Dalai Lama.
"It is hoped that through contact and consultation, the Dalai side will take credible moves to stop activities aimed at splitting China, stop plotting and inciting violence and stop disrupting and sabotaging the Beijing Olympic Games so as to create conditions for talks," the agency quoted the official as saying.

Eh... kinda amusing, but not as funny as I expected.
Anon 6:10pm: That might just be because... they didn't?
According to the CBC (among other sources), they did.
James Curran: Ad agencies and their executives along with a guy named guite bilked the Liberal Party...
Ha! That's right, it was the Liberals who were the victims, and getting "bilked" means having $1-40 million dollars given to you.

You know what I am really upset about? The Teapot dome scandal.
By FederalPapers, at 12:56 p.m.
“According to the CBC (among other sources), they did.”
Wrong again!
“Hang on a minute. The problem was caused by the CBC report on Tuesday 12:09 EST.
“Camera crews, including one from the Liberal party, were on hand as police arrived at the downtown building.”
However, the Wednesday report added this
“The Liberals said they saw the raid unfold on television and rushed over to capture the event.”
From Globe and Mail on Wednesday
“News of the raid first broke on CBC Newsworld Tuesday and other media quickly arrived on the scene. Liberal staffers from the Liberal research bureau, which is one block away from the Conservative party headquarters, then followed with a video camera to record the event.”
So, I’ll accept the Liberal version if Anonymous 4:20 has the inside info. I hope no one was hurt in the rush for the door.”
By JimTan, at 2:08 p.m.
That was awesome. Thanks for a good laugh.
By Marc Gendron, at 7:49 p.m.
Wow. James Curran is now fully indoctrinated. The Liberals as victims of adscam. That's a good one.
Almost as funny as someone earlier saying the Chronicle Herald was a liberal-leaning newspaper. That takes the cake.
By Anonymous, at 6:15 p.m.
According to the RCMP, AFGL, the Liberals are. The charges relate to fraud AGAINST the Liberal Party, not BY it.
By Anonymous, at 1:41 p.m.
I have to admit that my foremost concern in relation to the sponsorship scandal was the possibility that people with Liberal connections were potentially defrauding the Liberal Party and sullying its good name. The likelihood that the alleged stolen money were ultimately the tax dollars of hard working Canadians was merely a minor nuisance for me. Thank you for clearing it up that it was not the Liberal Party at fault (they merely set up the sponsorship program with all its faults in the first place), but merely members of the Liberal Party. I think this is a great argument to take to the people.
