I am on one hand pleased with the idea of taking in the red torries.
It helps make it clear that the Liberal Party is the home of progressives in Canada. That instead of a true merger of two parties, the Conservatives merely took the Mulroney elements of the PC party while the progressive element moves to teh Liberal party.
On the other hand, I would be very dissapointed if any of them won.

I was a red tory member of the PC Party prior to the ill-begotten merge. I even helped get some Orchard delegates to the last PC Party leadership convention. Now I'm a red tory member of the Liberals and I agree with shawn that Orchard (crazy man as he is - moustache or not) will help solidify the idea that the PC Party died a horrible death and really doesn't live in any way, shape or form in the current Conservative party. Orchard is a good organizer and will bring thousands of red tory refugees into Liberal memberships. Now lets bring Joe Clark in. :)

The universe still continues to unfold according to plan.
Now it really can be Orchard signing Stronach up to a rejection of long-standing Liberal policy to stop a last ballot charge by Brisson.
Indeed history does re-play tragedy as farce.

I just want to make one thing clear: there is a strict NO RETURN POLICY ON SALE, REMAINDERED, OR DAMAGED GOODS. You buy it, pick it up, look at it for more than a second: it's yours and you now have to deal with the problem.
Have fun with Blonde Ambition, Mr. Leak, Organic "WJB" Dave, Bobby "Rae Daze" Rae, Ralph "No Information" Goodale, et al.

Mr Annextraitor, as we told you before that the policy is 'no deposit, no return.' That stink bomb that just went off at the back of your bus was an anti-theft device that David Emerson attached to his 'Ruling Class' parachute. Please note we offer no warranty on that part, so please enjoy as you sail off into the sunset...

Hey Ned, if you get Clarke to come into the Liberals, good on ya. I'm sure the ghost of King, and Trudeau will love all that electorial success that Joe will bring with him.
LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL. (you Liberals are so screwed!!!!)
