Kicking Ass

Warren Kinsella picked me as his top blogger of 2005 which I got a big kick out of, mainly since Warren's blog was the first blog I ever read and that was one of the reasons I thought "hey, it might be kind of neat to do something like that".

For some reason, the link next to my site takes his 140,000 daily visitors to the NDP "gift ad" commercial but, to be fair, it's a really good commercial and a lot better than anything you'll read here.

Happy New Year to all - I'll throw up a Year in Review something this week. Feel free to post your 2006 predictions in the comments section bellow.

  • Well deserved, to boot.

The returning of the hyperlink favour to Warren is great- I just hope that more than me looked at where it went.

  • Congratulations, CG.

Speaking as a former grit myself, if there were more grits like you, the federal Liberals would not be in the pickle they are today.

May the year 2006 be peaceful and prosperous for all.

  • CG - you deserve it, even when you go all "big government wonky" on us.... you are, afterall, a Liberal.

  • This is my wish list prediction for 2006

Conservative Government wtih two seats in Quebec

    McLellan loses her seat

Stronach loses her seat and her daddy won't hire her back

Martin retires to "Barbados" to watch over his "sons" shipping business

Liberal supporters in this country come out of their hypnosis and realize that the country is far better off without a dictatorship

  • Well I'd stay away being associated with Warren Kinsella, the man is a bitter politician who just can't get over the fact that we overthrew the Chretien dictatorship.

  • I don't know about warren, but I definetly think you have one of the best blog sites out there. Before I started blogging,, when I reached out to you, you were humble enough to reply to me and gave me good tips. that speaks volumes of an individual's character. You have my respect Sir. Good Luck to you in 2006.

  • CG I generally don't agree with you. Having said that, as a pretty right wing guy myself, I must say that I enjoy coming to read what I believe is one of the most intelligent, classy and thought provoking blogs around.

Keep up the good stuff in 2006.

  • Too bad you have to sully your wonderful blog by rendering yourself a Kinsella apologist. Otherwise, great work. All the best for 2006.

  • Too bad your wonder blog has been to sullied by comments from a Martin apologist. Otherwise, great work. All the best for 2006.

And anonymous -- if you see Junior, please give a swift kick in his ass for me.

  • OOps!

Sorry about the weird linkage. Will fix soonest.

Happy New Year, even to the soon-to-be-unemployed Martin war room trolls!

  • I have to say, as a centrist, your blog is by far the best partisan blog I have ever read. I agree with the earlier comment stating that if more Liberals were like you, our country would be in much better shape. Ah well... maybe after 2 minutes in the box this election, the Libs can come out and be a force again. Until then, Conservative/NDP for change!

  • Great job. This is my favorite stop for political commentary. I like Kinsella too though. I don't agree with you guys all the time but I love that you've got the balls to write it.

    Keep up the great work!

  • This is to "Jack". Yeh overthrow the Chretien government and get one that is ten times as corrupt. Boo Hoo Vote for Peace Law Order and Good Government. Vote for Stephen Harper! Get rid of junior and his bums!

  • Go FUCK Yourself!

By Blogger Jack, at 10:01 p.m.

  • As well, you can go fuck yourself too. You Tory assholes will not take my country away from me!

By Blogger Jack, at 12:08 a.m.

  • You hear that, guys? It's Jack's country. Those who don't support Paul Martin have no right to influence how it's run!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:40 a.m.

  • That's right. Didn't you know? If you don't have Liberal values (coruption, lack of ethics, etc.) you're not a real Canadian.

Gee, is that part of the Charter?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:45 a.m.

  • Hey Jacko (I mean Wacko) you sound like Junior to Gilles. You can't take Quebec away from me. Gilles should have replied "Watch Me"
Jack has anyone ever told you that you have an anger problem! Maybe you are angry at the lieberals and you don't even realize it!
