Yes! We Can!

Really Jack?

  • I think that was Joe Clark's campaign slogan from the 2000 campaign.

  • Even Jack Layton himself probably does not believe the NDP can change anything.

  • At least he went back to the orange this time...

  • Apparently, change can only start when Jack is damn well good and ready for change.

But it will be great for Liberals in NDP held seats. "When their voted mattered the NDP was standing hand and hand with Stephen Harper."

I can only hope that the NDP apparatchiki is that shortsighted.

  • Wow, I guess they didn't notice every Obama story in the past two weeks.

The honeymoon is long over. Poor, sad, uninformed NDP.

  • Are you KIDDING me?!

    I'm embarrassed for the NDP.

  • "I think that was Joe Clark's campaign slogan from the 2000 campaign."

Actually the PC 2000 slogan was "Change you can trust." I rather liked their 2000 campaign, with the parody of K-tel ads.

Canadian election slogans are often similar to American ones, by the way. For instance "Stand up for Canada" (Harper's 2006 slogan) was the same as racist independent candidate George Wallace's in 1968.
