Change that puts people first

The Ontario NDP release their platform, chalk full of policies that are great news if you own a big house, drive a gas guzzler, or like coal power.

Partisan jabs aside, Andrea Horwath could do some serious damage in this fall's Ontario election - she's a far more impressive politician than Howard Hampton, and thanks to Jack Layton a vote for the NDP has been somewhat legitimized.

My gawd . . the NDP actually making sense, cured of the Al Gore induced mass hysteria about the plant fertilizer we call CO2.

If this is true someone must immediately send an ambulance to Lizzie May to get o her before her heart attack is fatal.

  • I'm a card-carrying federal Liberal and consider myself pretty "Blue Grit". And I'm leaning towards voting for Andrea Horwath. Her platform is good and makes sense and frankly, my memory to what Dalton McGuinty did to the federal Liberals in 04 (health tax during election) and 06 ("Ontario wants its fair share") is very long and my grudge is deep.

  • I'm actually a card carrying dipper for over twenty years. Ms. Horwarth has forced me to quit the party because of her Tory policies. She sickens me.

I hope she loses the next election so we can get a new leader and an actual leader that shares NDP values.

  • A complete mischaracterization of the the platform, but what's left for Liberals other than cheap shots and mudslinging?

Your post isn't a partisan jab, it's intellectually dishonest and disingenuous. To extend your pugilistic metaphor, it's a punch below the belt.

  • I'm really considering voting Horwath, however will wait for an election campaign to decide

McGuinty's been in too long and needs to go. I have a similar general feeling about his party, as well.

Haven't seen much from Hudak that seems worthwhile (yet)

As far as I know ON's never had a female Premier. So if Horwath campaigns on an equal footing with Hudak and McGuinty, it's certainly a point in her favour

  • Ontario and BC were shafted for the HST. BC had the HST forced on them by, Campbell, Hansen and Harper. McGuinty really angered the Ontario people, because of the HST. They would be well rid of him. The HST was a scam, designed for big business, and big business only. Campbell and Harper, thieved from the BC people, to give to big business.

Everyone in Canada knows about the BC Liberals. BC is the, number one laughing stock, in all of Canada.

The BC Liberals, cheat to win. I haven't heard if Elections Ontario is as, corrupt as Elections BC?
