I'm about ready to call it. Liberals win calgary elbow. Up 2791 to 2135 with a third of the polls to go.

With all but 3 polls reporting, Cheffins has 45% to Heninger's 38%. A great night to be a Liberal in Alberta!

The conservatives have lost in Alberta,yeah baby.That does not bode well for Harper and friends.

Don't get too excited, Dirk, the provincial PCs and the federal CPCs are only kissing cousins, of the air-kissing kind.

Actually Dirk, it bodes WELL for Harper and friends.

Why? Because the federal Liberals made the same mistake as the Alberta Tories: They chose a 3rd-choice, regional, play-it-safe compromise candidate that no one really likes, but no one really hates. History has proven you're better off with a candidate that some people love and some people hate.
