An Endorsement
I've also been impressed with her focus on the internet and technology. As a former CBC executive, she understands the needs to communicate to the grass roots and she's been very vocal about the party using the Internet and technology for fundraising and communications.
For more information, be sure to visit the candidate websites or read blog interviews they've done. If you're still on the fence, be sure to check out their speeches at convention and make sure to vote because this is an important, albeit incredibly unglamorous, vote.

CG will the Senator be resigning from the Senate or will the Liberal party hand the other parties another reason to say that the Liberal party uses tax dollars to fund its activities beyond the $1.75 per vote?

Well, the party has a history of having party presidents in the Senate and it's never been an issue before.

Tony, I think there are more important questions than whether or not Sen. M. Poulin will remain the the senate.
While we are on the subject, Mr. Ianno has said he will run in the next election.

CG, I am surprised at your comment about the past. It is what the Liberal party did in the past that needs to be changed and having someone on the public payroll acting as the party's president is just bad optics. Diva is right that there are important things for the Liberals ti fix within the party but not fixing a key item that got the party in trouble in the past is just asking for trouble.
